Henderson Earns Women's Basketball USA South Rookie of the Week Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. – Freshman point guard Zikira Henderson of William Peace was named USA South Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after two key performances over the course of the week. This is her second time this season to earn Rookie of the Week honors. 

Henderson averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and one steal in two games of USA South conference play. In a 95-65 loss to N.C. Wesleyan, Henderson totaled seven points, four rebounds, and two assists. In a 80-45 loss to Methodist, Henderson scored 15 points with seven rebounds, two steals, and one assist.
