Athletic Training Mission
The mission of the Pacer Athletic Training staff is to provide the best preventative treatment, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries to our student athletes. We collaborate with our team of certified athletic trainers as well as physicians to ensure each student athletes' needs are met to the best of our abilities.

Our Sports Medicine team is comprised of 3 NATABOC certified athletic trainers and an orthopedic physician who are responsible for the medical care and safety of over 200 student athletes participating in 19 varsity sports in the USA South Conference and 21 overall sports.

Pacer athletic trainers are dedicated to the advancement and knowledge of sports medicine with the newest equipment, evaluation and rehabilitation techniques and services. The philosophy continues to be that we advocate for the patient and that their needs will be considered first.

Our staff is committed to providing the best medical care as outlined by the NCAA, the National Board of Athletic Trainers, and the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Licensure. On this webpage you'll find the required athletic training forms for new/transfer student athletes and returning student athletes as well as helpful information about concussions, sickle cell and the NCAA banned drugs.
