Raleigh, N.C. – William Peace women's basketball earned a hard-fought 58-54 victory over Brevard on Thursday night inside the Hermann Athletic Center, marking the Pacers' eighth win of the season. The Pacers secured the victory against Coach Annalee Bollinger's alma mater and former coach.

"Tonight was a great win for our program," Bollinger said. "We faced a very good Brevard team that played incredibly hard, and our group stayed engaged with the game plan while making winning plays down the stretch. It was a total team effort, and I couldn't be more proud of our team."

The game featured multiple lead changes and tight play throughout, with neither team able to create separation until the closing minutes. After trailing 26-25 at halftime, Peace responded with a strong second half and outscored Brevard 18-12 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Ensley Perry led all scorers with 19 points and seven rebounds, delivering several key baskets down the stretch. Amiah Griffin posted nine points and a team-high 10 rebounds, while Alayna Randolph added eight points, three assists.

Zikira Henderson contributed five points, 10 rebounds, and five steals, helping anchor the Pacers defensively, while Kristin Barber provided a crucial spark late, knocking down four free throws in the final seconds to seal the victory.

William Peace forced 25 Brevard turnovers and converted them into 22 points, while also holding the Tornados to 38 percent shooting from the field.

With the win, the Pacers improve to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in USA South play. They hit the road as they face Mary Baldwin on Monday and Southern Virginia on Tuesday of next week.
