Greensboro, N.C. - William Peace women's basketball earned an impressive 88-75 road victory over Greensboro on Thursday night, using a full team effort to secure the first USA South win of the season.
The Pacers were balanced from start to finish, winning three of the four quarters and producing one of their most complete offensive outings of the year. Peace shot 41 percent from the field, scored 40 points in the paint, and added 33 fast break points while also collecting 66 rebounds as a team. The 88 points marked the highest single-game total under head coach Annalee Bollinger.
Zikira Henderson led the way with 24 points and 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season, adding five assists and a steal. Ensley Perry continued her strong stretch with 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Alayna Randolph delivered another all-around performance with nine points, seven assists, and six rebounds.
The Pacers also received major contributions throughout the rotation. Freshman forward Zakoreya Davis posted 11 points and 14 rebounds, Kristin Barber added 10 points, and Bre Oliver grabbed 10 rebounds.
Peace controlled the tempo early, opening the game on an 11-0 run and carrying a 45-38 lead into halftime. A steady second half pushed the advantage into double digits, and the Pacers closed out the win at the free-throw line, going 24-for-32 on the night.
With the victory, William Peace improves to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in USA South play. The Pacers return home for their conference opener on Thursday, December 12, hosting Coach Bollinger's alma mater, Brevard College, at 6:30 p.m.
