RALEIGH, NC-- The William Peace men's soccer team will open their season on Saturday against Old Dominion Athletic Conference member, Shenandoah University.

This game will mark the start of year number two under Pacer Head Coach, Ryan Huber. The Pacers will look to improve following their 2017 season where they finished, 6-12-1. After graduating eight seniors, including the program's all-time leading scorer Chris 'Wolf' Deleon, the Pacers welcome back 14 returners from last years team and also welcome a very talented class of 18 newcomers.

Head Coach Ryan Huber said "I'm looking forward to starting the season this weekend. We have a great group of newcomers that are fitting in really well with our returners. This is an exciting year for our program as we continue to build into a program that competes for the conference tournament every year."

The Pacers kick-off on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park. Catch the game with live stats and live video.
