RALEIGH, NC - William Peace University has announced the promotion of Logan Moore to Head Women's Volleyball Coach.
A native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Moore is elevated to lead the program after previously serving as the team's assistant coach during the 2025 season while also working within the athletic communications department as a Sports Information Assistant.
"We did not have to look far to find our next leader!" Athletic Director Claude Shields commented. "Logan is a rising star in the coaching world and believes deeply in Peace and the volleyball program. She was a part of some of our most successful teams as a player and we can't wait for her to lead us back there as our new head coach. The future is bright for Peace Volleyball!"
A 2023 William Peace graduate, Moore earned her bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice while competing as a four year standout libero for the Pacers. During her playing career, she helped the program capture the 2021 USA South Regular Season Championship and finished with 1,528 career digs, ranking fourth all time in program history.
Moore has also built an impressive coaching resume through her six years with Carolina Legacy Volleyball Club. She served as the head coach for multiple national level teams while spending two years as the program's Lead Defensive Coordinator. She also worked as a head beach volleyball coach during the 2022 season.
In 2023, Moore helped lead her 14s National Team to a division title at the Big South National Qualifier, where the team finished first out of 284 teams and secured a national bid at the largest indoor girls junior volleyball tournament held over a single weekend in North America.
During her time as an assistant coach at William Peace, Moore assisted with recruiting, practice planning, player development, match preparation, and team operations while helping continue the growth of the program.
"Being named Head Women's Volleyball Coach at William Peace means so much to me." Moore said. "This program has played a huge role in my life as both a player and coach, so having the opportunity to lead it is incredibly special. I'm thankful to Claude Shields and Danielle O'Leary for trusting me with this role, and I'm excited to continue building the culture of this program and investing in our student-athletes. Go Pacers!"
Moore is also currently pursuing her master's degree in Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of the Cumberlands.
