Danielle O'Leary joined William Peace University in June 2022 as Assistant Athletic Director before being promoted to Associate Athletic Director in July 2023. She will enter her fifth year with the Pacers in 2026-27. In her role, O'Leary oversees NCAA and Title IX compliance, athletic facilities, scheduling, and game contracts for William Peace Athletics.
Prior to arriving at William Peace, O'Leary served as the Senior Woman Administrator, SAAC Advisor, and inaugural Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Mount Aloysius College beginning in 2018. Before her time at Mount Aloysius, she spent five years at Hollins University as the Senior Woman Administrator and Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach from 2013-18.
O'Leary remains actively involved at the national level within collegiate athletics administration. She serves as a Program Facilitator for the NCAA Division III LGBTQ OneTeam program and currently sits on the NCAA Division III Interpretations and Legislation Committee. In both 2016 and 2022, she served as a site representative for the NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse Championship. She is also an active member of Women Leaders in Sports, where she co-facilitates the LGBTQ member circle.
A former multi-sport student-athlete, O'Leary earned a Master of Science in Physical Education from Ithaca College in 2011 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from New England College in 2010. At New England College, she competed as a member of both the women’s ice hockey and women’s lacrosse programs and was named the institution’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2010.
