RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace baseball players Gavin Turner and Seth Svadeba were named to the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region VI All-Region Second Team, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
Turner earned Second Team honors at third base following a standout sophomore season for the Pacers. He started all 41 games and led the team with a .392 batting average while recording 60 hits, 38 runs scored, 36 RBI, 11 doubles, five home runs, and 29 walks. He also posted a .500 on-base percentage and a .582 slugging percentage during the season.
Earlier this season, Turner was selected to the All-USA South First Team after helping lead the Pacers to a 20-win season and an appearance in the USA South Championship series.
Svadeba was selected to the Second Team pitching staff after finishing the season with a 9-1 record and a 1.79 ERA across 18 appearances. The junior totaled 21 strikeouts in 45.1 innings pitched while adding three saves and finished within the top 10 amongst Division III for wins on the mound.
Svadeba allowed just nine earned runs all season and held opponents scoreless in 13 appearances, serving as one of the Pacers' most reliable closing arms.
