RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace men's basketball dropped a home conference contest on Monday night, falling 74-60 to Greensboro College inside the Hermann Athletic Center. The loss moves the Pacers to 8-13 overall and 2-8 in USA South play.
The game was tightly contested early, with Peace trailing by just one at halftime. Greensboro pulled away in the second half behind efficient shooting and strong play in the paint, limiting the Pacers' ability to generate a late run.
Parker Hodgson led Peace with 14 points, while Elijah Cathcart added 12 off the bench and Shawn Jones contributed 11 points and seven rebounds.
William Peace will look to respond on the road, traveling to N.C. Wesleyan on Wednesday, February 11, for a 7:30 p.m. match up.
