RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace men's basketball fell 85-77 to N.C. Wesleyan on Wednesday night inside the Hermann Athletic Center. The loss drops the Pacers to 6-11 overall and 0-6 in USA South play.
Peace showed fight in the second half after trailing by 13 at the break, outscoring the Battling Bishops 50-45 over the final 20 minutes, but was unable to fully erase the deficit. Elijah Cathcart led the Pacers with 18 points off the bench, while Shawn Jones added 16 points and nine rebounds.
William Peace will look to regroup as conference play continues.
