GREENSBORO, N.C. - The William Peace Pacers let up in the second half to take a tough loss to the Sewanee Tigers in Day Two of the Guilford Holiday Classic Tournament on Monday afternoon.

"Tough one today against a very good team." WPU Head Coach Claude Shields said. "We created a lot of really good looks offensively - but have to step up and knock them down. We've got one more non-conference game Friday - excited to get back to work!"

The Pacers found themselves in another tight game up until the second half, only trailing by 11 at halftime. The Tigers' lead grew from 19 to 34 in the last 10 minutes of the second half. They scored 54 points in the paint compared to William Peace's 14.

Michael Dulin led the way for the Pacers scoring 8 points from the free throw line, and knocked down 4 three-point shots to earn him 20 points. Tyler Whitehurst followed with 10 points. 

WPU will round out non-conference play against Carolina University on Friday, January 3rd and open up USA South Conference play the following week.
