Women's Soccer Releases 2023 Schedule

RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University Women's Soccer released their 2023 schedule following a record-breaking 2022 season. In 2022, the Pacers set a new program record for most wins in a single season as they went 11-6 overall. The Pacers also hosted a USA South Conference tournament game for the first time, falling in a tightly-contested matchup against Greensboro College in the first round by a score of 1-0. The Pacers finished the year with the program's first All-Region honorees (Raine Greene and Kyra Delaney), as well as receiving 6 USA South All-Conference selections.
 
Niva King
The Pacers will begin the year with two home scrimmages against St. Andrew's University and Richard Bland College before opening the regular season on the road against Warren Wilson on September 1st. They return home on September 9th after road trips to Johnson & Wales (N.C.) and Regent University to face Hollins University at 3:00 PM, with their last matchup against Hollins resulting in a 7-0 victory. The Pacers head to Winston-Salem on September 13th to take on the Bruins of Carolina University.

They host Ferrum College on September 16th at 2:30 PM before hosting Averett University on September 19th at 7:00 PM. The team will open USA South Conference play on September 30th at 2:00 PM against Mary Baldwin University, who they fell to in 2022 by a score of 2-1. A road trip to Methodist University on October 3rd will pit them against the 2022 USA South Regular Season and Tournament Champions before they take a break in conference action to host Sweet Briar College on the 5th at 7:00 PM.

They will continue to host as Greensboro College visits on October 7th at 2:30 PM before facing crosstown rival Meredith College at home on October 11th at 7:00 PM, coming off a 2022 win by a score of 3-1. A trip to Salem College on the 14th will be following by a home match against North Carolina Wesleyan University on the 17th at 7:00PM. They will go on a final road swing to Southern Virginia University on October 20th and Pfeiffer University on October 25th before finishing the regular season at home for Senior Day against Brevard College on October 28th at 3:00 PM.
