BEREA, KY -- William Peace University Men's and Women's Track & Field excelled at the USA South Championships, held at Berea College in Berea, KY. The men's team finished in 5th place with a total of 55 points, while the women finished in 10th with a total of 23 points. Kenneth Wilkes was named the Field Athlete of the Meet after setting two new USA South Conference records - one in the High Jump with a mark of 1.97m and one in the Triple Jump with a mark of 13.80m - also collecting USA South First Team Accolades for both events. Wilkes also picked up a 3rd Team All-Conference finish in the Javelin.

Myla Barnes was named 2nd Team All-Conference in the Discus with a mark of 38.20 and 3rd Team All-Conference in the Hammer with a mark of 37.95m. Her mark in the hammer also set a new school record.

Shawntez Mickens and Solomon Womble were named to the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team.
