Blount Finishes 6th In 400 Meter Dash at Trojan Challenge

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Sharif Blount of William Peace finished sixth out of 13 runners in the men's 400 meters at the adidas Trojan Challenge on Friday, March 22.

Blount ran a time of 50.89 seconds to finish ahead of seven runners including two Division II competitors. His time ranks second in the USA South Conference.

The Pacers 4x100 relay team of Blount, Solomon Womble, Lemuel Scott, and Amir Hutchinson placed fourth out of six teams in 45.09 seconds. The Pacers finished ahead of one Division II team and one Division III squad.
