Men's Basketball Heads To Guilford College Invitational

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The William Peace University men's basketball team will travel to Greensboro, N.C. Friday night to compete in Guilford College Invitational. The Pacers (1-0) will take on No. 15 Emory (0-1) on Friday night at 5 p.m. It's the first time in program history that the Pacers are squaring off against a nationally ranked team.

William Peace opened the 2016-17 season with an 81-58 victory over Randolph College Tuesday night. Jalen Vince scored 16 points to lead all scorers. Dakota King had a very nice line of 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.

Emory is coming off a 74-70 loss to Covenant College in the Eagles season opener. Adam Gigax and Jim Gordon posted career highs of 26 and 25 points, respectively, but their efforts fell just short of coming out with a victory. The Eagles will be determined to find their first victory of the season against the Pacers come Friday night.

Live stats and a live stream are provided online.
