Baseball Drops Series at Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - William Peace fell in all three games of its conference series at Methodist over the weekend, moving to 12-20 overall and 5-10 in USA South play.

On Friday, the Pacers struck early but could not hold off Methodist in a 6-4 loss. Leland Barrow drove in two runs while Caden French recorded two hits including a triple as Peace finished with nine hits in the game.

Saturday's first game saw the Pacers jump out to a 7-2 lead through three innings behind strong scoring innings. Gavin Turner and Kyle Peters each had three hits, while Kahner Moss and Barrow combined for five RBIs. Methodist answered with a 10 run fourth inning to swing momentum and take a 13-9 win.

In the final game, the Pacers were limited to four hits in an 8-1 loss. Caden French and Gavin Turner each recorded hits, while Kahner Moss scored the lone run for Peace.

William Peace will look to bounce back on Tuesday when it hosts Chowan at 4 PM.
