CARY, N.C. – William Peace bounced back Monday night with a dominant 22-2 win over Bethany at WakeMed Park, improving to 7-1 on the season.
The Pacers took control early, scoring eight goals in the opening quarter and adding eight more in the second to take a 16-1 lead into halftime. Peace continued to add to the margin in the second half while holding Bethany to just nine total shots in the contest.
William English led the offensive effort with six goals and five assists for 11 points. Caleb Garey followed with five goals and one assist, while Brandon Goad added three goals. Tyveon Brock finished with two goals and two assists as the Pacers totaled 34 points on the night.
Tom Newhall, Derrick Buchanan, Dylan Sullivan, Jack Rodeck, Tyler Rutherford, and Christian Dewain Cosme Rivera each added a goal as Peace recorded 69 shots and controlled possession throughout the game.
Defensively, Carson McGee made two saves while the Pacers forced 40 Bethany turnovers and collected 60 ground balls.
Head coach Troy Humphrey was pleased to have his group back together as the team prepares to begin conference play.

William Peace will open USA South Conference play on Saturday, March 14 when it hosts Huntingdon at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
