ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - After losing game one, William Peace responded on Saturday afternoon defeating NC Wesleyan 14-6 in Rocky Mount to even the series.
The Pacers broke the game open in the seventh inning, erupting for nine runs to take control. Gavin Turner delivered a three run home run to spark the rally, while Caden French followed later in the inning with a grand slam as Peace turned a 6-2 deficit into an 11-6 lead.
French led the offense with three hits, four RBIs, and three runs scored, while Kahner Moss added four hits and three runs. Turner finished with three hits and four RBIs, and Kyle Peters contributed two hits and two RBIs as the Pacers totaled 19 hits in the win.
On the mound, Seth Svadeba earned the win with three scoreless innings of relief, shutting down NC Wesleyan late.
William Peace will look to take the series in the finale tomorrow.
