DURHAM, N.C. - William Peace women's basketball dropped a nonconference road contest at North Carolina Central on Monday night, falling 103-51 at McDougald-McLendon Arena. The loss moves the Pacers to 11-9 overall on the season.
NCCU jumped out to an early lead and maintained control throughout the game, using the first half to create separation. William Peace continued to battle on both ends but was unable to close the gap against the Eagles' offensive efficiency.
Zikira Henderson led the Pacers with 12 points, knocking down a pair of three-pointers, while Alayna Randolph added nine points and five rebounds. Alyssa Monroe contributed seven points off the bench, and Ellie Farmer provided six points.
The Pacers return to conference play later this week as they look to regroup and continue their push through the USA South schedule.
