MISENHEIMER, N.C. - William Peace fell on the road Tuesday night, dropping a 64-50 decision at Pfeiffer inside Merner Gym. The Pacers move to 14-10 overall and 11-6 in USA South play.
It was a tight contest throughout the first half, with the game tied 10-10 after the opening quarter and 26-26 at the break. The teams traded the lead 10 times and were tied on 12 occasions in the game.
Ensley Perry led William Peace with 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Amiah Griffin recorded 10 rebounds to go along with seven points, while Zikira Henderson finished with seven rebounds and six points.
Pfeiffer used a 20-14 third quarter to extended their lead heading into the fourth, outscoring Peace 18-10 over the final 10 minutes.
The Pacers close out the regular season on Saturday, February 21 at Methodist with a 2 p.m. tipoff.
