MISENHEIMER, N.C. - William Peace men's basketball dropped a 78-62 road contest to Pfeiffer on Tuesday night, moving to 9-15 overall and 3-10 in USA South play.
The Pacers battled early and trailed just 41-35 at halftime after knocking down six first half three-pointers. Pfeiffer used a strong second half run to create separation, shooting 50 percent after the break and pulling away down the stretch.
Parker Hodgson led Peace with 15 points, while Tyler Whitehurst added 14 on 4-of-6 shooting from three. Shawn Jones finished with 13 points and six rebounds, and Chuks Ezeonu recorded seven points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
William Peace will close out the regular season on Saturday, traveling to Southern Virginia for a 2 p.m. match up.
