Men's Lacrosse Signs Twelve-Year-Old Through Team IMPACT

RALEIGH, N.C. - The William Peace men's lacrosse program added a new team member on Wednesday night.

Twelve-year-old Gavin signed a national letter of intent through Team IMPACT to join the Pacers. Team IMPACT is a non-profit organization serving children who are facing life-threatening or chronic illnesses by creating team-based support systems.

"Gavin's remarkable energy and determination make him an ideal addition to our William Peace Lacrosse family.
" Head Coach Troy Humphrey said. "His family's enthusiasm and level of engagement are a perfect fit for the culture we're creating here. We are excited to see Gavin wear the number 40 and represent the William Peace Pacers!'

Gavin officially became a team member at a signing day press conference inside the Flowe Building on William Peace's campus. He signed in front of his parents, Gavin and Kimberly, sisters Grace, Stella, and Emily, the Pacers' players, Coach Humphrey and his coaching staff.
