William Peace Cross Country Begins New Chapter Under First-Year Head Coach Cameron Davis

RALEIGH, N.C. — The William Peace University men's and women's cross country programs will open the 2025 season under new leadership, as Cameron Davis steps in as head coach. With an entirely new roster and energy surrounding the program, the Pacers are eager to make their mark this fall.

"With a fresh group and a brand-new chapter for Pacers Cross Country, I'm looking forward to seeing what this team can accomplish," said Davis. "They've already shown great dedication and work ethic, which makes my job exciting."

The Pacers will kick off their season at the Downback Invitational, hosted by Methodist University, on September 5th at 5 p.m. The schedule features five meets of top notch competition, providing the new squad with valuable experience to gear up for the USA South Conference Championships in November.

As the team continues to build its foundation, Coach Davis highlights the importance of consistency and team chemistry. Their dedication to training and shared enthusiasm sets the tone for an exciting year ahead!
