RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's and women's cross country had a successful outing at the Pfeiffer Cross Country Invitational, with Sharif Blount setting a new PR in the men's 8K.

Blount finished 27th for the Pacers with a time of 31:44.6. Daniel Steele rounded out the runners for the Pacers in the men's 8k.

In the women's 5k, Caitlin Bobbitt finished in the top 50 for the Pacers with a strong time to end the weekend strong for the program.
