Derrick Buchanan Earns Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - The freshman long-stick midfielder from Midway Park, North Carolina totaled nine ground balls and caused seven turnovers as the Pacers posted a 1-1 record last week against USA South competition. In an 18-7 loss to Methodist, Buchanan grabbed two ground balls and caused two turnovers. In a 19-13 win over Brevard, Buchanan totaled seven ground balls and five caused turnovers to go along with one assist.
