Cathcart Earns USA South Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week Honors

RALEIGH, N.C. - Freshman guard Elijah Cathcart of William Peace was named USA South Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week after an impressive performance over the course of the week. This is his second time earning Rookie of the Week honors this season.

14.7 points and 3.7 rebounds last week as the Pacers posted a 2-1 record against USA South opposition. In an 83-74 loss to Pfeiffer, Cathcart had 18 points and six rebounds. In a 94-92, overtime, victory over Southern Virginia, Cathcart totaled ten points, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Finally, in a 76-71 win over Methodist, Cathcart scored 16 points with three rebounds.
