RALEIGH, N.C. – In their final game of the season, the William Peace Pacers (5-20, 3-11 USA South) delivered a strong performance at home, defeaating the Methodist Monarchs (7-18, 3-11 USA South) with a 76-71 victory at the Hermann Athletic Center.
Michael Dulin led the way for the Pacers, scoring a game-high 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting. Elijah Cathcart added 16 points while knocking down 4-of-5 shots from beyond the arc.
The game was a back-and-forth battle, featuring five ties and 12 lead changes. William Peace held a narrow 41-40 lead at halftime, shooting 53.3% in the first half.
Elijah Green contributed 11 points, five assists, and a key steal, while Tyler Whitehurst recorded in eight points, including timely free throws down the stretch to hold the lead.
With the win, the Pacers end their season on a high note, securing their third conference victory.
