WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The William Peace men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their regular season at the South Region Showdown on Friday morning, setting the stage for the upcoming USA South Championships in November.

For the 8k on the men's side, Benjamin Castro led the Pacers with a time of 33:46.1, followed by Charles Pennell who finished in 34:55.9. Michael Cary rounded out the lineup, crossing the line at 46:26.6.

For the 6k on the women's side, Sophie Perterson continued her strong season, clocking in at 34:37.5 to lead the Pacers.

With the regular season now complete, the Pacers will shift their focus to the USA South Cross Country Championships, set for November 1.
