RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace Unviersity Women's Basketball Team took a home loss to Southern Virginia University 92-35, on Tuesday night in the Hermann Athletic Center.
William Peace capitalized on 24 attempts from the free throw line, converting 14 of those throughout the night. Cashae Morton led the way, sinking 5 of 6 attempts, while Brene'a Daye and Zikira Henderson combined for 9 more.
"Tonight was not our night." Head Coach Annalee Bollinger said after the game. "That's a very good SVU team but there's definitely things we need to get back to as a group and a lot of that starts with effort. My staff and I will be better and the team will as well moving forward. We look to bounce back on Thursday."
They will look to build on this as they prepare for their next match up against Warren Wilson College on Thursday Night at 6 PM.
