STAUNTON, V.A. - The William Peace Pacers (2-11, 0-2 USA South) put up a hard fight in their conference match up against Mary Baldwin (8-5, 3-0 USA South) on Friday night in Staunton, Virginia.
Turnovers were the story of the game for William Peace, as the Pacers gave the ball away 17 times. Mary Baldwin capitalized, converting 9 steals into 18 points keeping the momentum on their side throughout the game. These turnovers proved costly in the 78–71 loss on the road.
Parker Hodgson led the way for the Pacers with an impressive all-around effort. Hodgson finished with a team high 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, and got to the free throw line on 6 occasions.
