Pacers Fall To Mary Washington At Home

CARY, N.C. – William Peace settled down after the first inning and kept the game competitive, but the Pacers eventually fell 6-0 to Mary Washington at the USA Baseball National Training Complex on Tuesday.

The Pacers started slowly as they fell behind 5-0 in the first inning. They held the Eagles scoreless the next seven innings before allowing a run in the ninth.

Cole Thompson and Nick Tyler each batted 2-for-4 for the Pacers. Jacob Cace hit a double and Tyler Stocksdale recorded a stolen base.

The Pacers will travel to Montgomery, Ala., for a three-game weekend series against Huntingdon, beginning Saturday, March 9, with a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m.
