Dacunto Knocks In Two Runs In Baseball Loss To Va. Wesleyan

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Jake Dacunto drove in two runs for William Peace in a 12-4 baseball loss to Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday.

Dacunto singled to right field in the first inning to score Nick Tyler, who reached base on a double. His RBI hit gave the Pacers a 1-0 lead. He later added an RBI in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly that scored Cole Thompson.

Dalton Meredith scored on Will Sadler's RBI groundout in the seventh inning. Nick Tubolino scored in the eighth inning on Roldanny Alvarez's sacrifice fly.

The Pacers will host Mary Washington in a single game on Tuesday, March 5, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. The first pitch is at 4 p.m.
