Pacers Start Softball Season Saturday At Home

Adanya Day Was Selected To The USA South All-Conference First Team The Previous Two Seasons

RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace begins the 2024 softball season with a home doubleheader on Saturday.

The Pacers will host Sweet Briar at the WPU Softball Field. The first game begins at 12 p.m. followed by the second game at approximately 2 p.m.

William Peace returns 12 starters from last season's squad which finished 24-18 overall. The key returnees include third baseman Adanya Day and shortstop Logan Ayers. Day is a two-time USA South All-Conference first team selection and Ayers was a 2021 All-Conference pick.

Charlie Dobbins enters his 25^th season as the Pacers' Head Coach. He has won over 500 games in his coaching career at William Peace.
