Women's Basketball Hosts Centre In Season Opener Saturday

Junior Guard Brenea' Daye Is One Of Five Returnees For The Pacers
RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace will make its women's basketball season debut under new Head Coach Annalee Bollinger against Centre at the Hermann Athletic Center on Saturday, Nov. 9. Tipoff is 2 p.m.

The contest is part of a volleyball/women's basketball doubleheader. The volleyball game versus Brevard will start at noon.

Bollinger will direct a squad returning five players – guards Brene'a Daye, Ja'Naisja Baker, Allye Woodruff, Brittany Blackburn and forward Hannah Lewis. The Pacers added seven exciting newcomers.

The Pacers will attempt to better last season's 8-17 record, including a 6-12 USA South Conference mark. The Pacers will host a Centre team picked second in its conference, the Southern Athletic Association.
