WPU Baseball Signs Nine-Year-Old Through Team IMPACT

RALEIGH, N.C. - The William Peace baseball program added a new team member on Tuesday night.

Nine-year-old Isaac signed a national letter of intent through Team IMPACT to join the Pacers. Team IMPACT is a non-profit organization serving children who are facing life-threatening or chronic illnesses by creating team-based support systems.

"We are excited to have Isaac join our program," WPU Head Coach Charlie Long said. "He has already made an impact on our guys with his warm smile and his willingness to chip in and help wherever needed. We look forward to getting to know him and his family as he continues to participate in many of our team activities."

Isaac officially became a team member at a signing day press conference inside the Flowe Building on William Peace's campus. He signed in front of his parents, the Pacers' players and Coach Long and his coaching staff.
