Baseball Program Hosts Pacer Fall League World Series Today (Oct. 24)

CARY, N.C. – The William Peace baseball program is hosting the Pacer Fall League World Series, which started Wednesday, Oct. 23, and continues Thursday, Oct. 24, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. The first pitch for Thursday's game is 4:45 p.m.

If necessary, the third and final game will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29.

In what has become a tradition for the Pacer baseball program, two intrasquad teams will battle for the right to raise the great pumpkin (PFL Series Trophy) in celebration of the Series win. An Offensive and Defensive MVP will be named, and a Player of the Game will be announced at the conclusion of each contest.
