FAYETTEVILLE, NC -- William Peace University baseball rallied late to take a 13-9 extra innings victory over Brevard College and advance to Day 3 of the USA South Conference Tournament.

KEY POINTS
- The Tornados would take an early 2-0 lead in the 1st on a few hits. A double from Sean Roseborough in the 2nd would put the score at 2-1, but a double from Brevard in the 3rd would put the Tornados up 3-1. A sac fly from Nick Tyler would score Jacob Norris to cut the game to 3-2 in the 5th, with Brevard adding two runs in the 5th for a 5-2 lead.
- A huge homerun from Roseborough and a single from Nick Tyler would help give the Pacers a 6-5 lead in the 6th. The Tornados would retake a 7-6 lead on a sac fly and a single, while a single in the 7th would give them a 9-6 advantage.
- At the top of the 9th, three walks for Hunter Ward, Sean Roseborough, and Jacob Norris would tie it 9-9 to help send the game to extra innings. A single from Jake Dacunto in the 10th would score Dalton Frasier and Nick Tyler for an 11-9 game, while Jake Dacunto would score on a wild pitch for a 12-9 lead. Cole Robbins would single to score Hunter Ward to help secure the 13-9 win for the Pacers.
