FAYETTEVILLE, NC -- William Peace University baseball completed a rally with a walkoff from
Patrick Rogan in the bottom of the 9th to defeat Brevard College 15-14 and secure their spot in the USA South Conference Tournament next week at N.C. Wesleyan. This marks the program's first Championship appearance as they also set a new program record for wins in a single season with 25.
Patrick Rogan also topped the record book for most RBIs in a single season with 55.

KEY POINTS
- Sean Roseborough would put the Pacers up early 1-0 in the 2nd with a single to left field to score Hunter Ward. The Tornados would take a 2-1 lead in the 3rd with two doubles, but a sac fly from Patrick Rogan and a homerun to left field from Jake Dacunto would give the Pacers a 4-2 lead.
- In the 5th, a few walks, a single, and an error would push Brevard ahead by a score of 9-4. A groundout from Rogan and a single from Roseborough in the 6th would chip away to a 9-7 score. Brevard would post a big 7th inning with two singles and two doubles to take a big 14-7 lead.
- In the bottom of the seventh, a walk for Rogan and a sac fly for Dacunto would cut the lead to 14-9. The Pacers would come within one in the 8th as a double from Nick Tyler, a single from Rogan, and a single from Dacunto would bring it to 14-13. Josh Little would hold the Tornados at the top of the 9th, and a sac fly in the bottom from Brett Kemp would score Shy Thompson to tie it 14-14. The Pacers would load the bases, and a walkoff single from Rogan would score Dalton Frasier for the 15-14 win.
