KEY POINTS
- Brett Kemp would put the Pacers up 1-0 in the 3rd on a double to center field after two quick opening innings. The Battling Bishops would rally in the 4th on a ground out and an error to take a 2-1 lead.
- In the 6th, NCWU would take a 4-1 lead on a double and a single. A sac fly from Brett Kemp would score Ian Turner to cut the lead to 4-2 at the top of the 7th. The Battling Bishops would score on an error, a sac fly, and a single in the bottom of the 7th to lead 7-2. They would add two more in the 8th on a groundout and an error to help secure a 9-2 win in game one.
