- Brett Kemp would put the Pacers up 1-0 at the top of the 1st with a sacrifice fly. A double from Cameron Barefoot at the top of the 2nd would increase the lead to 2-0, while a single from Nick Tyler would give the Pacers a 3-0 lead.
- Greensboro would get on the board in the bottom of the 2nd with a double to left field putting the score at 3-1 Cameron Butler would single at the top of the 3rd for a 4-1 advantage for the Pacers.
