KEY POINTS
Game One
- Brett Kemp would get the Pacers up 1-0 at the top of the 1st as Nick Tyler would score. In the 2nd, a single from Cameron Barefoot would increase the Pacer lead to 2-0.
- Greensboro would get on the board in the 4th with a ground-out bringing in a run for a 2-1 score. A single from Nick Tyler in the 5th would give the Pacers a 3-1 advantage. In the 8th, a triple from Cameron Butler and a single from Ian Turner would put WPU up 8-1, while a homerun from Brett Kemp in the 9th would bring in 3 runs to help secure the 9-1 win.
Game Two
- The Pacers would get up 4-0 in the 1st, with a single from Brett Kemp and a big double from Patrick Rogan. Greensboro would add a run in the bottom for a 4-1 score. In the 2nd, a triple from Brett Kemp would score Jacob Norris for a 5-1 game.
- In the 3rd, a sac bunt from Ian Turned would increase the Pacer lead to 6-1. Greensboro would cut the score to 6-3 on a single and a walk in the bottom of the inning.
- A big 4th inning for the Pride would put them ahead 9-6 on a single, a fielder's choice, and a double. In the 5th, a triple from Patrick Rogan would score Hunter Ward for a 9-7 score, while a single from Ian Turner would close the gap further to 9-8.
- A sacrifice fly in the 6th for Hunter Ward would tie the game 9-9. Ward would bring in 3 runs with a homerun in the 8th to give the Pacers a 12-9 lead. The Pacers would score another run on a passed ball for a 13-9 score, while a single from Ward in the 9th would secure the Pacers a 15-9 win.
