RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University softball received a USA South athlete of the week award as
Anna Suggs was named the USA South Softball Player of the Week.
The senior infielder/pitcher from Tabor City, North Carolina was a combined 6-for-11 (.545), with a .538 on-base percentage, and an .818 slugging percentage to go along with one run scored, nine RBI, three doubles, one walk, and one sacrifice fly in a 3-1 week for the Pacers. In two games, wins over Bridgewater and Cedar Crest, Suggs was a combined 4-for-4 with one run scored, six RBI, three doubles, one walk, and one sacrifice fly.
