HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first quarter, the Maroons would take an early 8-5 lead before a layup from Pamela Mock would cut the score to 8-7. A shot from behind the arc by Brene'a Daye would put the Pacers up 10-8, but the Maroons would go on a run to end the quarter up 19-13.
- A layup from Elisha Aull would cut the Roanoke lead to 23-17 early in the second quarter, with a jumper from Mock bringing it to 23-19. The Maroons would go on a run to lead 38-23 before a jumper from Kameesha Pascoe would bring the score to 38-25 at the half.
- A quick start in the third quarter would put Roanoke up 53-29. A layup from Mock and a 3-pointer from Ninevah Reddick would bring the score to 53-34. Another strong push from the Maroons would give them a 66-39 lead heading into the final quarter.
- A jumper from Brene'a Daye would put the Pacers on the board early in the 4th as they trailed 68-41. A few jumpers from Aull and Reddick would bring the score to 75-46, with a jumper from Myla Barnes cutting the Maroons' lead to 79-51. Roanoke would go on a late run to lead 90-54 before taking a 90-60 win over the Pacers.
