HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pacers would take an early 7-5 lead in the first quarter with a jumper from Elisha Aull and a free throw from Pamela Mock. The Monarchs would go on a big run to lead 19-9, with a 3-pointer from Brene'a Daye cutting the lead to 19-12 before the Monarchs would take a 21-12 lead into the 2nd quarter.
- Daye would add a few free throws early to cut the lead to 25-14 in the second quarter, with a layup from Myla Barnes bringing the score to 25-16. The Monarchs would go on a big run for the remainder of the quarter to head into halftime with a lead of 44-17.
- A few jumpers from Aull and a layup from Ninevah Reddick would cut the score to 50-27 early in the 3rd. Hannah Lewis would add a few free throws as the Pacers trailed 60-29. The Monarchs would end the quarter with another strong push to lead 69-36.
- In the 4th, an early run would put Methodist up 76-38. Aull would add a 3-pointer and a jumper, while Nora Williams would add a free throw, to cut the lead to 80-44. Reddick and Kameesha Pascoe would add some late layups, but the Pacers would fall 88-53 to the Monarchs.
