LYNCHBURG, VA -- William Peace University men's soccer took down Randolph College by a score of 1-0 to open the regular season with a win. Danny Alvarez tallied the lone goal for the Pacer, while Tripp Kidd notched 3 saves in goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The game would go back-and-forth early, with the Pacers putting some early shots on Zach Aylor. A cross from 
Jorge Aguilar would find 
Danny Alvarez, who would tuck it away to put the Pacers up 1-0 at 23:16. 
Tripp Kidd would notch several good saves for the Pacers to keep them up 1-0 at the half.
Kidd would continue to be strong for the Pacers, making an early save on Cats Campbell in the second half. 
Rush Campbell would get the best chance for the Pacers in the second half, but his shot would be picked up by Zach Aylor. The Pacers would walk away with a 1-0 win over the Wildcats to begin the regular season 1-0.
