HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers would open up the first quarter with a run to take a 9-0 lead. A layup from Haley George would put the Pacers on the board as they trailed 9-2. Ferrum would go on another run to lead 17-2 before a layup from Pamela Mock would cut the lead to 17-4. A few free throws and a jumper from Pamela Mock would end the first quarter as the Pacers trailed 25-11.
- Myla Barnes would add a jumper and Ninevah Reddick would add a 3-pointer early in the 2nd as the Pacers trailed 25-16. A strong run from Ferrum would give them a 44-16 lead, and the Pacers would trail 46-19 at the half.
- In the 3rd, Kameesha Pascoe would add a layup as the Pacers cut the lead to 48-21. A few free throws from Mock and Pascoe would bring the score to 54-24, while some late free throws from Mock and Barnes would put the score at 56-28.
- In the final quarter, the Panthers would go on a run early to lead 63-31. Mock would add a jumper while Myla Barnes would add a few free throws, with Brene'a Daye adding a shot from behind the arc as the Pacers trailed 65-43. Neither team would get anything going in the final minute and the Pacers would fall 65-43.
