RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's soccer shut out Methodist 3-0 in the USA South Conference Tournament Semifinal. The Pacers will now host the Championship on Saturday, November 5th, at WakeMed Soccer Park against Brevard College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half would begin with Methodist holding much of the possession and testing
Tripp Kidd early with a shot from Christopher Shoffler. The Pacers would battle back as a cross from
Jorge Aguilar would find
Josh Rutland, who would put it away to put the Pacers up 1-0 at 30:39.
Ramiro Vera would put the Pacers up 2-0 at 40:20, assisted by
Jorge Lemus, to send the game into the half with a score of 2-0. In the second half, the Pacers would continue to put on the pressure in a physical game.
Alex Macedo would add to the scoreboard at 60:01 to bring the score to 3-0, assisted by
TJ Hurd. The Pacer defense would shut down Methodist for the rest of the game, giving the Pacers a 3-0 win.
