RALEIGH, NC-- William Peace University women's soccer defeated Salem College 2-0 for their 8th win of the season to set a new program record for most wins in a season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pacers would score just two minutes in as
Victoria Finklea would get in front to put the team up 1-0, assisted by
Kyra Delaney and
Raine Greene. Neither team would gain much momentum for the rest of the half, and
Makenzie Jones would make a good save near the end of the half to send it into halftime with a 1-0 score.
At 48:27,
Kyra Delaney would pass back to
Baylee Womack, who would find the back of the net to put the Pacers up 2-0.
Raine Greene would hit the post at 67:38 as the Pacers would continue to keep up the pressure. Neither team would add to the scoresheet, and the Pacers would come away with a 2-0 win.
