HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pacers would get on the board early at 1:23 as
Kyra Delaney would find the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
Makenzie Jones would make some good saves for the Pacers as NCWU added some pressure. The Battling Bishops would score on a breakaway opportunity at 15:15 to tie it 1-1. The Pacers would have a few good chances, but Caitlyn Butler would put the Battling Bishops up 2-1 at 29:39.
In the second half,
Dayna Kenworthy would tie it up 2-2 on a penalty kick at 51:25. Just five minutes later,
Raine Greene would feed in a ball over the top to
Kyra Delaney, who would head it in to put the Pacers up 3-2. Both keepers would stay strong for the rest of the game, and the Pacers would come away with a 3-2 victory.
