Raleigh, NC - The William Peace University women's basketball team will travel to Berea, KY to compete in the semifinals of the USA South Conference Tournament. The Pacers will face Piedmont College on Saturday, February 29th at 3 PM.
The Pacers took the win in the quarterfinals on February 22nd with a (72-61) win over Huntingdon College to advance to the semifinals. The team last faced Piedmont on November 16th where they fell (75-69) before going on an impressive winning streak.
The Pacers are currently ranked #24 in the WBCA NCAA Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll after a tremendous (22-3) overall record. The Pacers shot at an impressive 42.3% from the field during the regular season, the highest percentage in the USA South Conference, while also averaging an 11.5 scoring margin over their opponents. The Pacers showed incredible depth throughout the season, with seven individuals reaching triple digits in points:
